Pathways
For Promise

We joined the “Pathways for Promise” program of the Asian University for Women (AUW) to realize their dreams of becoming university graduates. They receive university scholarships while we keep paying their monthly salary until they graduate in order to support their families.

Health and
Wellness

Pacific Jeans conducts health screening campaign to diagnose health issues of the workers including and aware them about potential problems beforehand. It also organize awareness campaigns of SRHR, hygiene, nutrition etc. as part of health and wellness development of workers.

Diversity And Equal Opportunity

Pacific Jeans has formulated gender responsive policies to achieve gender equality, to develop women leadership and to promote diversity in workplace. We’re implying different strategies to ensure merit-based diversity irrespective of their race, gender, religion etc. in order to foster inclusivity throughout the organization.

Employment Of Physically Challenged

We believe in Leaving No one Behind” philosophy for long-term sustainability and hence we employ physically challenged people creating a conducive environment for them. A little effort to enable them to work goes a long way to integrate them in the economy and empower them as active contributor in the society.

Centers

Pacific Jeans Child Care Centers provides free childcare services for the children of the workers during working hours to prevent dropouts of female workers after maternal leave which plays a vital role in enhancing participation of women in workforce

Blood
Donation

We organize blood donation campaign among employees periodically to surge the supply of safe blood for the people who’re in need. This initiative saves lives and raise awareness of significance of blood donation in the society.

Free Eye Care Services To Workers​

Pacific Jeans provides eye care service to the employees collaborating with Fred Hollows Foundation. Vision Detection Corners (VDCs) have been installed to detect their visual impairment and free spectacles are provided to the workers with Refractive Error.

Digital Wage
Payment

Pacific Jeans Group pioneered the digital payment of salaries of workers in RMG sector giving them the convenience of withdrawing money “anytime” and “from anywhere,” encouraging saving habits, and bringing transparency and efficiency to the payroll system. Our women workers now have more control over their income and play a larger role in family decision-making.

Women Leadership Development

One of our gender mainstreaming strategies is to develop women leadership through soft skill and technical skill training to female workers. It’s a long-term process which will create opportunities for females to unlock their potentials to promote them as leaders.

Implementing Employee Injury Protection Scheme

We believe a safe workplace is an efficient workplace. We collaborated with GIZ to implement the Employee Injury Protection Scheme (EIPS) in order to find ways to reduce workplace injuries, illness, and death.

Zero Tolerance to Harassment

The core of our code of conduct is “Respect For Individuals”. We follow the United Nation’s (UN) Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights.” We strictly enforce Anti-Harassment Policies and Procedures to ensure that all employees are treated with dignity and respect. We have formed a Complain Committee (CC) following the High Court guidelines to address the issues.

Investing is human resource development amplifies organizational efficiency and personnel retention. Hence we develop a culture of learning through series of skill development trainings, workshop and knowledge exchange programs to unleash the potentials of out employees. It helps to develop a talent pipeline and to keep up with industry trends which eventually boost their morale and sense of belongingness.
